“The MiLL was honored to accept the 1st Student Achievement Award, presented by the Colorado Association of School Boards (CASB). The presentation of the award was during the CASB’s 74th annual convention held at The Broadmoor resort in Colorado Springs. The MiLL was one of only two programs in the state of Colorado to receive this award.

This award recognized The MiLL’s innovation in creating opportunities for students to excel in CTE pathways, as well as highlighting the collaboration between Peyton and Widefield school districts to make The MiLL possible.

Every year, WMIA honors excellence among woodworking companies by presenting the annual Wooden Globe Awards. WMIA members nominate their customers, and awards are presented in three categories: Educator of the Year, Commitment to Excellence Through Technology, and the newly refocused Innovation of the Year.

The nominator for each winning entry will have the opportunity to personally present the award to their nominee at the awards ceremony during WIC 2020 in Isle of Palms, SC, May 5-8, 2020, and WMIA will pay your WIC registration fee and travel expenses if your nominee wins.
