Breaking: IWF announces 5-day virtual trade show
IWF has announced a new online event, IWF Connect, which will be Monday, October 26 to Friday, October 30. IWF Connect is the new virtual trade show for the woodworking industry. IWF Connect will bring attendees and exhibitors together in a virtual market week featuring the global woodworking industry’s newest products, technologies and innovations in one easy-to-navigate online experience.
For attendees, complimentary IWF Connect registration affords: Direct exhibitor access through live chat and meetings; Live product demonstrations; Webinars; Exclusive show-only pricing, and a custom show experience organized through the My IWF Connect Show Planner.
For exhibitors, the IWF Connect online exhibit hall delivers: Direct access to one of the woodworking industry’s largest audiences; A virtual booth brand showcase featuring images, videos, brochures, white papers, news releases and links; and a virtual New Product Gallery.
Exhibitors will also have direct engagement with attendees via virtual business cards and email, qualified leads from booth visitors, a platform to stage live demonstrations, live Q&A sessions and to offer show specials, and social media and webinar options.

That’s Neat!: 590-foot, 40-story timber tower coming to Sydney
“Australian software company Atlassian is building an ultra-sustainable ‘hybrid timber’ tower to serve as its new headquarters. Set to become the world’s ‘tallest commercial tower of its kind,’ the 590-foot, 40-story tower will accommodate 4,000 workers when construction finishes in 2025.”

- Brett Reid, WEINIG/HOLZ-HER, Mooresville, NC
Rick Braun, Robotic Solutions LLC, was re-elected to a second three-year term.
The Association wishes to salute outgoing Board members Mark Craig and John Benjamin Henderson for their years of service. They will be recognized during WIC 2021.

More than 140 submissions were received and evaluated by a team of six Woodworking Network editors.”
